Prevelis beach is one of the best and most beautifull beaches in the whole island of Crete. Many local people and tourists visit that coast very often. In Prevelis there are two ways to go:

The first one is to drive until Prevelis Monastery and then to go down through the steps following the narrow road driving to the beach. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes.

The second one is to drive until Plakias and from there to take the boat. The departure is at 10:30 and the arrival is at 16:00.

The visitor can see a marvelous landscape round the coast of Prevelis, that is characterized from the river ending in the sea. The river has palm trees right and left of it. A walk through the river is necessary.

On the beach there are some souvenir shops or food shops and it is an organized beach with umbrellas and deck chairs.
